Prayer for the Saints and the Cry of the Filipino People for Justice and Truth
Almighty God, source of all love and mercy,
We pray today in humble gratitude for the holy men and women whose lives illuminate the path of faith. Through all the saints who have walked before us, grant us the courage to stand firm in truth and fairness. Isaiah 1:17
We lift up the Philippines to you, Oh Lord, a nation blessed with vibrant culture and resilient hearts. May the spirit of compassion, justice, and truth rise like a sunrise over its islands.
Lord, we pray:
– That the saints may inspire our leaders to govern with compassion, integrity, and humility, remembering that true authority serves the common good.
– That every Filipino may find the strength to speak out against oppression, corruption, and injustice, trusting that righteousness will prevail.
– That the wounds of past suffering be healed, and that peace may blossom in every community, from the centers to the peripheries.
Through the prayers of the saints, may we be united in purpose: to protect the vulnerable, to uphold human dignity, and to nurture a society where truth shines brighter than fear.
We entrust this petition to Your boundless grace, confident that with the saints as our guides, we shall walk the road of justice hand‑in‑hand with our fellow Filipinos.
